B: his mom gave loud verbal praiseC: roy didn’t do any more puzzlesI believe this is positive punishment. The loud verbal praise was added and the desired behavior from Roy decreased because the verbal praise was aversive to Roy. His mom had good intentions but it wasn’t reinforcing to him.
