Because you have been found in violation of one or more college policies, the following sanctions (consequences) have been issued. Sanctions are intended to be educational in nature. Sanctions encourage you to reflect upon your actions and realign future behavior with the College’s values and expectations of all students.Research/Reflection Paper – Using at least 1 credible and cited source in a format of you choosing, write at least a 3 full page, double-spaced, 12 point font, 1″ margin paper answering the following questions:Review and reflect upon the Fire Safety policy found on page 23 of the Student Handbook. Why is this policy important to creating a safe environment conducive to learning?What are some safer, approved alternative options should you wish to make your space smell better in placing of lighting a candle?Research one fire in a college residential environment caused by an open flame. Describe the extent of the damage and what was the impact on the community.Now that you are more knowledgeable about the fire safety policy at Hiram College, what are some creative ways the College may be better able to educate the community about fire safety.
