Description
Challenge: Start-ups in the region face difficulty in marketing their products and services considering the
competition from other well-established organizations in the same industry sector. Your organization received
government funding to develop a marketing platform to serve these start-ups. Your team was assigned as the
project management team to study, plan and execute the project. :I)- The assignment requires that you select a project from the pool of projects listed at the end of this
assignment description. The project sets are selected to emulate real-life examples of executed business
projects. In this assignment, you are assuming the role of the project management team.
II)- Your team will write a group project planning report to describe the planning stage where you, the
project management team, would ensure to integrate all eight project performance domains and plan for
their execution in the management of your project.
III) Report Requirements (these sections constitute the minimum requirements):
Please structure your report as follows:
a. Introductory section: address the business case, that is the problem to address, the
business value to deliver and a brief description of the project that is presented as a
solution. [ this section is 10% of the report mark]:
b. Project planning section: describe the planning considerations you would address for each
of the eight performance domains. You do not have to be exhaustive but justify your
selections (e.g.: frequency of product delivery, budget, choice of stakeholders, type of
communication, type of team activities and why etc.). In your discussion of each
performance domain, provide the following [ this section is each performance mark]:
1. Describe the performance domain and how it applies to your project
planning.
2. Use templates provided in your module loop page to deliver at least two
artifacts you used while planning this performance domain.
3. Select and discuss at least one model you would use to deliver some
activities while planning this performance domain.
c. In your concluding section, include the following matrix that will serve as traceability for
your team of the performance domains mapped across the models used [ this section is
5% of the report mark]:

b. Report Housekeeping: while writing your planning report, consider including a cover page, table
of content, list of figures, list of tables, section headings, appendices, etc. Please keep mind of the
language structure, the reference usage and the overall report organization [ this would account for
5% of the report mark]:
