Answer the following question in 3-5 paragraphs in the discussion board by Friday night:

All Quiet is a film about WWI, which occured between 1914-1919 in Europe, but the film itself was based on a book written after the war and it was produced in 1930. Knowing what you now do about the “interwar period” (1919-1939), what was the message that you think the filmmakers and the author of the book were trying to get across and do you think they did so successfully. Be sure to consider the state of the world in 1930 and what people were most anxious about at the time. Do you consider this film to be propaganda, as defined in the lecture, why or why not?
