Advanced preparation is helpful when researching potential career options. Practicing your responses to mock interview questions can help you refine your message and speak confidently when explaining your understanding of current issues in criminal justice. This assignment will prepare you to communicate your ability to conduct research and explain your understanding of criminal justice issues to potential employers. It will also reinforce the skills that you will use in your summative assessments in this course. Select one of the topics from Week 2 Career Readiness: Written and Oral Interview Responses as your focus for this assignment. Research the topic and prepare a response appropriate for inclusion in a career portfolio.Select one of the following formats for your assignment:A 350- to 525-word written response. Include citations supporting your response.A 1- to 3-minute video or screencast of yourself giving an oral response.
