Hi At the beginning, we need to write a topic about establishing a train project between two cities 100 km from each other. The train serves travelers and also transports petrochemical goods between the two cities. We wants the subject to talk about several aspects of the supply chain such as environment, sustainability, safety, etc. in 4 pages and use font Times New Roman 12 size Phase-1 Building Knowledge Gaining Knowledge on the chosen topic by critically reviewing at least 12-15 articles of applied nature from the sources: Harvard Business Review, Sloan management Review, Interfaces, and Omega (any other related one) and highly relevant to the journal (with your supervisor’s consultation). These articles must be cited and referenced in your written report.The student writes a 4 page summary of his/her understanding then meets with the advisor to discuss the way forward.The student writes a short proposal that describes all the elements of the study including the problem statement, methodology, and implementation plan (see Guide-2).

Introduction
• Describe the general area to be studied in this project
• Identify a specific topic of study and its context (i.e., company/department).
• Explain the problem/issue you intend to study and its significance.
2. Statement of the Problem
State the problem to be studied in a brief and concise manner. Conclude this with a
proposed title for your project.
3. Background/ Review of the Literature
Briefly review the existing literature, which bears on the stated problem. Your focus will
be to:
• Summarize what is already known about the topic.
• Make sure to cite all works mentioned throughout the research proposal.
• References should be listed in an acceptable format (for example APA style).
4. Methodology
This section should describe the procedures and techniques for carrying out the project and
should include at least the following points:
a.
The nature of the data/information to be collected,
b.
The methods for collecting the data and its sources.
5. Analysis Plan
You should include in the proposal your plan on how you are going to analyze the
problem, and what techniques do you intend to use.
