Overview:
In this assignment, you will engage in an in-depth analysis of a significant problem currently facing the United States. Your task is to research, analyze, and propose two distinct, research-backed solutions to this problem, ultimately recommending one. This project is designed to enhance your critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, employing methodologies and tools from our textbook and course discussions.
This assignment will be broken up into 3 parts, with the final paper being submitted in Week 8 of this course. Below are the expectations and guidelines for the final paper. Please reference this week’s instructions for what you should complete this week and submit to this assignment.
Format and Guidelines:
Length: Your paper should be 3 pages in length, APA formatted. This does not include the title page and references.
Structure: Your paper should include the following sections:
Problem Statement: Clearly define the problem. Discuss its relevance and impact on the United States. This section should be grounded in research and fact.
Potential Solution 1: Present the first solution with supporting evidence from scholarly journals or credible news sources. Discuss the application of problem-solving tools from our textbook in developing this solution.
Potential Solution 2: Similarly, present the second solution with research backing. Include the tools and methodologies used to arrive at this solution.
Suggested Solution: Choose one of the solutions as your recommendation. Justify your choice based on critical analysis, ethical considerations, and the effectiveness of the solution. Weigh the pros and cons, discussing potential impacts.
Research and Sources:
Utilize a minimum of 4 research sources. These can include scholarly articles, credible news reports, or academic journals.
Sources must be properly cited and included in a references page following APA guidelines.

Now that you have had the opportunity to work on the components of this paper, you will submit your final written paper to this assignment.
