Description
Your task this week is to complete a supply chain map for your chosen product. See the instructions below and use the Supply Chain Lecture as a guide for this assignment. You may submit this as a digital file. 1. Select a product. Pick one input/raw material that is a major part of this product. Draw a Supply chain map for this raw material. For eg. if I picked coffee as a product, then my major material would be coffee beans. 3. Identify points of major impact (both environmental and societal) along this supply chain. Find statistics to support these points. Use the lecture material as a guide on how to complete this. 4. Finally, identify 2 points at which we could intervene to make this supply chain more sustainable. In a paragraph for each intervention point, describe the intervention, What the expected changes would be following this intervention. stating whether it intervenes at the Process/Operations, Policy/Institutional or Values/Cultural levels (see slide on Donella Meadows Leverage points). Describe how effective you anticipate this intervention to be in transforming this supply chain. Upload a photo or a file containing your supply chain map.
