This module has examined the elements of culture. In this assignment, you will be examining a culture unfamiliar to you. Looking at another culture through your lens provides the opportunity to reflect on the differences and similarities among different cultures. This will give you a global perspective on culture in the world around you and help you look closer at the elements that shape your own culture.
Choose a culture you are not familiar with, do not pick your own culture (I’m Hispanic so do asian culture for example). The goal should be a learning experience.
Choose a platform for your online presentation. We have provided some options for presentation platforms.
Create collage or presentation with visual elements. The presentation should include:

Complete a one-paragraph reflection with the following information:
Describe culture, material culture, and nonmaterial culture.
Describe how symbols and language reflect cultural values.
Explain how culture impacts the individual and society.
Check for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and APA FORMATTING.
Cite and reference all resources utilized in the assignment. There should be two or more references in APA format.
The presentation has a cohesive, visually pleasing, and appropriate background. The presentation contains high-quality graphics/icons that help the audience understand the content and does not detract from the presentation.
The student effectively connects information from all sources. Presentation smoothly flows from one topic to the next without the need for headings. The student’s writing expertly expresses a relationship between all sources.Meets or exceeds the two or more required current sources, peer-review journal articles, and/or scholarly books. Sources include both general background sources and specialized sources. Special-interest sources and popular literature are acknowledged as such if they are cited. All websites utilized are authoritative. Cites all data obtained from other sources. APA citation style is used in both text and bibliography.
The presentation includes a comprehensive set of visual elements for all components listed in the assignment directions. The presentation demonstrates an in-depth understanding of concepts through the application of course content. Concepts are synthesized into the student’s own perception.
