Description
Sea power is said to consist of the interrelated capabilities of the three Naval Services (Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard). Throughout history, sea power has served several functions such as forward presence, deterrence, sea control, power projection, naval security, and humanitarian aid. What can the Naval Forces do to help fulfill the goals of the National Security Guidance?
