BRIEF EXPLANATION MIDTERM PROJECT
Problem/solution White Paper: White papers that follow a
problem-solution structure. The main sections of a white
paper may include an executive summary, an
introduction or a section on background, a section
that describes the problem, a section that presents
the solution or solutions, and a conclusion.
The work is divided into two parts. Question 1 and 2 which means both work
involve different white paper writing. Question 1 needs 1 to 2 pages e and
question 2 also should consist of 1 to 2 pages.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTIONS
This assignment is to create a White Paper for the Senior
Executive Committee to address each of the following two
(2) situations. Each White Paper is limited to 1-2 pages in
length.
1. Currently the EHS Director/Risk Manager is only
involved in Loss Control Decisions. Risk Management
involves Loss Control and Risk Financing techniques.
Prepare a White Paper that addresses the involvement of
the EHS Director/Risk Manager in risk financing
techniques including retention, noninsurance transfers,
and commercial insurance.
2. 2. Prepare a White Paper addressing TransitionalReturn-to-Work opportunities for injured workers. Currently
the organization does not offer modified or alternative
work assignments for injured workers. Workers are
required to receive a full medical release before returning
to work.
