Respond to a peer in 7 sentences.I believe the reason why the researchers found what they did and had chosen to express it in the article in that matter, is because of their own experiences and with people older and younger than themselves. Which then allowed them to do their own research to provide a solid confirmation bias towards their theories. When it comes to political affiliations, I believe in their impact on how people view happiness to be a little misleading, because at times as politicians they can perceive to view things one way for the likes of others and then have a completely different viewpoint of the situation. However, I do believe that besides the political affiliation the ideas of happiness would have been the same regardless of if they were involved or not only because, but there are also other people of their same age that think like they do. But deep down, I also think that it is possible that the researchers found the results they did because political affiliation can in fact play a role in shaping individual’s beliefs, values, and attitudes. This can affect their perception of facts and information. Therefore, people from different political affiliations may evaluate evidence and information differently, leading to different conclusions. However, it is also important to consider that other factors might have influenced the outcomes besides political affiliation. For example, social and economic factors can also play a role in shaping individual’s beliefs and attitudes. Additionally, it is difficult to predict whether the results of the study would change if it were to be completed today, only because I believe the political climate is constantly changing as well as the people in society today. However, it is possible that the current political climate and events may influence individual’s beliefs and attitudes differently compared to the time the original study was conducted. Overall, it is important to approach the topic of political affiliation and its impact on attitudes and beliefs in a non-partisan and objective manner to gain a deeper understanding of this phenomenon.
