research and investigate online learning and in-person learning. Define both terms (online learning, in-person learning), discuss each mode’s impact on student learning outcomes, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each mode of learning based on your findings in scholarly research.
Formulate a clear and concise thesis statement and compose a research essay, including your methodology, that fully supports your thesis while following the guidelines below.
You should do your best to avoid bias in this paper and focus on analyzing credible evidence (do not mention your own experiences with online/in-person learning in this essay).
Guidelines:
1,000 to 1,500 word (no more, no less) scholarly research paper, including your methodology, that fully accomplishes the prompt, above.
The methods section must be the first section of the essay
200 to 500 words (no more, no less)
This word count is included in your final essay word count
All claims, analysis, and arguments must be supported by cited evidence.
Use a minimum of three sources (I’ve chosen one for you, below)
You must use this source and find two additional sources:
Kenzig, M. J. (2015). Lost in Translation: Adapting a Face-to-Face Course Into an Online Learning Experience. Health Promotion Practice, 16(5), 625–628. http://www.jstor.org/stable/26740777Actions
You may only utilize scholarly sources, including scholarly journals or books (Do not use the following: general websites outside of academic journals, news websites, YouTube videos, documentaries, movies, blogs, and other similar sources do not count).
0 points will be earned for any sources that are not scholarly (scholarly meaning – from an academic journal, academic conference publication, or academic book).
All citations must match the information in your essay (“match,” meaning it should be obvious that any paraphrased information came from the cited source and was not fabricated/made up)
complete an annotated bibliography for this assignment that contains four of your most referenced sources – you do not need to annotate any additional sources.
Your bibliography/works cited/references page must be the final page of your assignment, include all sources used, and be correctly formatted
You cannot reference Wikipedia or YouTube, etc (see above)
Utilize a proper citation format APA
Word count on the bottom of the last page of each assignment
Word count only includes content in the paragraphs, not the title or Works Cited page, etc.
Essays that are mostly a summary of your sources will receive no more than 50%. All papers must be based on your own analysis, referring to sources only to support your thesis.
