Researcg article review
From as Little as $13/Page

The first step in writing a research article review (also called a précis or a summary) is to summarize the thesis and main points of the paper. What is the paper about? What is it trying to accomplish and why is this important? What are the key advances claimed by the authors? How do they do this? What is the study’s methodology? Be prepared to discuss your thoughts about the article with the class.

Please use the following format for the article review of:

Otterstrom and Tillman, (2013). Income Change and Circular Migration: The Curious Case of Mobile Puerto Ricans 1995-2010. Journal of Latin American Geography12:3:33-57.

The review must be about one page in length, type written, double spaced and printed in 12 pt. font.

The review will not be longer than two pages, or they will be graded down one full point for every extra line of text. You will also be graded down if your review is significantly shorter than one page. You should follow the Academic Integrity Policy; your review will be automatically checked via Turnitin before I grade it. Plagiarized reviews will earn a grade of zero.

You will be graded on your ability to write effectively, which includes using proper grammar. Each summary should have three parts:

1. An introduction, which states the claim the author is making (1 paragraph),
2. A body which provides the evidence the author uses to support the claim (1 to 3 paragraphs)
3. A conclusion (1 paragraph) that evaluates the evidence and states whether you: Conditionally accept the claim the author is making, Reject the claim the author is making or Need to see more evidence to evaluate the claim

Your submission will be evaluated according to the Article Review Rubric on TCU Online. This assignment is worth 15 points.
