Everything in the Old Testament Tabernacle pointed to Jesus, our High Priest and Redeemer. Read and consider how Hebrews 9 demonstrates that the Tabernacle in the wilderness was an object lesson for Israel, pointing them to a future High Priest that follows the order of Melchizedek rather than the Levitical Priesthood. This will help you to better understand God’s progressive revelation of redemption.
Write a three to four-page paper supported by Scripture which compares and contrasts physical and spiritual redemption. Your paper must include the following:
Evaluate the similarities between the physical redemption of the Hebrews from Egypt by Moses and the spiritual redemption that we experience through Jesus Christ.
Determine how each piece of Tabernacle furniture symbolizes the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Menorah
The Golden Altar of Incense
The Ark of the Covenant
The Golden Mercy Seat
Explain (based on Hebrews 5-10) how the Order of Melchizedek is far superior to that of the Levitical Priesthood.
