Overall Guidelines
This written project will be completed by the same group of students that were formed at start of
this semester. Each group of students will select a company of their choice and analyze its quality
management practices, tools and approaches. The students will apply the concepts, analytical tools
and frameworks of this course to analyze the firm’s quality management processes, systems, and
practices. At the end, students will also provide their suggestions and recommendations to improve
the quality management systems and practices in the company (if deemed necessary) in the light
of the concepts discussed in the course.
This analysis will primarily be based upon commonly available information about the company on
internet, magazine, trade journals, and library. On the basis of available information, each team
will recommend the actions imperative to improve the quality management systems of the
company.
Here is the tentative outlines and format of the group project.
Format Guidelines:

Presentation:
There will be a presentation for this group project. Each member of the team will present
the analysis of the quality management practices and tools of the company. There will be 20
minutes’ presentation followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers session.
