Description
Create a scoring system for a sample group, I was trying to use a system with underlying scores, for certain objectives. I cant quite create, this scoring system I do not want people trying to out cheat this test self evaluation. The objectives for scoring are communication, adaptability, conflict resolution, and condusive enviroment. I came up with all the questions, maybe add a little more in there. In total 50 questions sounds doable to have 10 questions equally organized within the catagorizes for scaling the grading! and then the manual also needs to be completed. I would like ASAP the questionaire back only so that I can grade, a sample group of people I work with to have an example, and get the rest of it completed prior to the due date with data.

Leadership Self-Assessment: Nurturing Collaborative Environments
through Reflection and Improvement
Name:____________________________________ Age: ______
Sex: Male [ ] Female [ ]

Certainly, assessing whether someone exhibits good leadership traits is crucial for personal and
organizational growth. Here are some questions related to leadership and behavior that can help in
evaluating if someone may be a positive influence of a leader. These questions aim to gauge various
aspects of leadership, including communication, adaptability, conflict resolution, and the ability to build a
positive work environment. Remember that toxic leadership is often characterized by behaviors that
undermine team morale, trust, and overall well-being. It is important to review peers, and understand
proper roles for all personnel within the organization.

Test Construction Manual Project
Psychological Tests and Measurements
In a test/questionnaire manual, the sections usually look something like this:
1. History and Perspective (or Rationale and Overview) – (your lit review) APA format with
citations at the end of the manual. This is to be 2-3 pages long, giving an overview of your
topic area and any information you can find on methods of assessing your construct in the
past. The overview section should give the background on the topic, the current state of the
knowledge on the topic, and what gap in the knowledge you wanted to fill with your
questionnaire…all supported by references.
2. Administration and scoring (Directions for administering your questionnaire and how to score
it) Specific administration and scoring procedures that could be followed by someone not
familiar with your questionnaire or even testing in general.
3. Interpretation and results – Describe your norm group (e.g. sex, age, educational
background of your test takers). Describe the range of scores on the questionnaires, the
average, etc. What do these scores mean in the context of the topic you are trying to test?
How do you convert raw scores to standard scores or to a cutoff/threshold score (if you
choose to do so for your questionnaire). If you use a cutoff score, describe the rationale for
the setting of the cutoff/threshold score. What is the standard error of measurement for the
test? You will learn the statistical information necessary for this section in class.
4. Normative procedures – How did you create the test? What were the steps? Give a clear
explanation as to how the test was developed through to the final version.
5. Reliability – Since we will only be administering our tests to one group one time, we must
use our single measurement instrument administered to a group of people on one occasion
to estimate reliability. In effect, we judge the reliability of the instrument by estimating how
well the items that reflect the same construct yield similar results. To do this we will calculate
Internal Consistency Reliability estimation and split-half reliability.
6. Validity – Any justification of how your test might be valid and what more might be needed to
prove it so. You may not have much information, but suggest ways the information might be
developed.
7. A copy of the final version of the questionnaire.
The questions in your questionnaire are to be in a Likert scale format (forced multiple choice;
one common example would be requiring people to answer questions by choosing between ‘1 Agree Strongly’, ‘2 – Agree Somewhat’, ‘3 – Neither Agree nor Disagree’, ‘4 – Disagree
Somewhat’, ‘5 – Disagree Strongly’). Questions should not be fill-in-the-blank, true/false, or
yes/no.
This is not a research paper! This is the creation of a manual to accompany your
questionnaire. It is more of a book format and should stand alone as an explanation of your
questionnaire and how to use it. It is also considered a marketing tool, therefore, make it
appealing to the eye!

Oral Presentation of Your Project
In addition to submitting the manual to me, you will need to record and upload a 6-8 minute
video presenting your project. This oral presentation will fulfill HPU’s Oral Communication
Institutional Learning Outcome, which intends to assess that bachelor’s level students can
effectively express themselves in a spoken format.
The following are the criteria for the Oral Communication presentation that will be used to
assess and score your work:
● Central message: The main point/thesis/”bottom line”/”take-away” of a presentation. A
clear central message is easy to identify; a compelling central message is also vivid and
memorable.
● Organization: The grouping and sequencing of ideas and supporting material in a
presentation. An organizational pattern that supports the effectiveness of a presentation
typically includes an introduction, one or more identifiable sections in the body of the
speech, and a conclusion. An organizational pattern that enhances the effectiveness of
the presentation reflects a purposeful choice among possible alternatives. In the
Conclusion, briefly summarize your content, have a smooth and final effective statement,
and make sure the end of presentation is clear, and it does not stop abruptly or drift off.
● Reasoning: Analysis and support should be logical and consistent. Information and
perspectives should be compared, classified, and interpreted to provide a unique
perspective on a topic, draw significant and logical connections and conclusions, and
create well-articulated, convincing arguments.
● Supporting Material: Explanations, examples, illustrations, statistics, analogies, and
quotations from relevant authorities, and other kinds of information or analysis that
supports the principal ideas of the presentation. Supporting material is generally credible
when it is relevant and derived from reliable and appropriate sources. Supporting
material is highly credible when it is also vivid and varied across the types listed above
(e.g., a mix of examples, statistics, and references to authorities).
● Presentation: Posture, gestures, eye contact, and use of the voice. Delivery techniques
enhance the effectiveness of the presentation when the speaker stands and moves with
authority, looks more often at the audience than at his/her speaking materials/notes,
uses the voice expressively, and uses few vocal fillers (“um,” “uh,” “like,” “you know,”
etc.).
PowerPoint and visual aids can be used but are not required. However, if they are used, the
video must be of you speaking to the camera and NOT a voiceover showing only the visual
support materials. The primary focus is an assessment of your oral communication skills.
When preparing your oral presentation, consider how the various parts of your Test Construction
Project manual can be presented in a coherent way to fulfill each of the criteria above.
Instructions on how to upload your video presentations will be provided as the due date nears.
The Test Construction Project will be worth 100 points; the oral video presentation will
account for 10 of those points.
