Use language properly and effectively. Make sure your feedback is clear, concise, and adheres to guidelines.

3. **Data Sheet**: Create a data sheet that includes operational definitions, competency, criterion, and
ratings. Also, include elements of performance monitoring. – Operational Definitions: Clearly define the
behaviors or skills you are monitoring. For example, if you’re monitoring a trainee’s ability to implement a
behavior intervention plan, you might define this as “correctly follows all steps of the behavior intervention plan
as written.” – Competency: Define what constitutes competency for each behavior or skill. For example,
“Trainee correctly follows all steps of the behavior intervention plan in 80% of opportunities.” – Criterion: Set a
criterion for each behavior or skill. This could be a certain number of correct responses or a certain level of
accuracy. For example, “Trainee must correctly follow all steps of the behavior intervention plan in 80% of
opportunities for three consecutive sessions.” – Ratings: Develop a rating system to evaluate the trainee’s
performance. This could be a simple scale (e.g., 1-5) or a more complex system. – Elements of Performance
Monitoring: Include elements such as the date, time, and setting of each observation, the specific behaviors
or skills observed, and the trainee’s performance on each.
4. **Video Role-Play**: Record a video of yourself role-playing the supervision scenario. In the video,
demonstrate how you provide feedback based on the data collected.
5. **Scoring**: After completing the assignment, score your work based on the criteria provided. The concept
score will be based on how well you chose and discussed your subject, and the content score will be based
on how well you utilized aspects of supervision, used language, provided feedback, and demonstrated a
thoughtful approach to the subject. Remember, the goal of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to
effectively supervise a trainee RBT, including providing clear and effective feedback and monitoring
performance using a data sheet
