Objectives
There are a total of three case studies due during this course. Three case studies are due in Weeks 2, 4, and 6. Each case study focuses on key points in the understanding and application of concepts being studied during the corresponding week. They provide the opportunity for you to apply the concepts presented in a real-world problem or situation by identifying the problem, searching for solutions, and documenting and justifying your results and conclusions.
The Final Project will be a narrated PowerPoint presentation where you will have the opportunity to become creative and link your learnings on supply chain management to meet the requirements of a potential employment for you for the future.

FINAL PROJECT: BEST PRACTICES FOR GLOBAL ISSUES IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
For your final project, you will be utilizing information from all the readings, discussions, and assignments that you have completed throughout this course.

Types of disruptions to supply chains
Customer relationship management and the importance of developing customer satisfaction strategies

The 4 types of warehousing
The effects of outsourcing on supply chain management
10 Elements of a Successful Business Agreement
The effects of economics, competition, technology, geography, social and cultural issues, and political and legal issues on supply chain management
Utilizing third parties in supply chain management operations
The three Case Study assignments in weeks 2, 4, and 6, provided valuable information on practical applications and businesses that are utilizing the best practice concepts in supply chain management.
Now it is time for you to develop your own Personal Model of Supply Chain Management based on the best practices from the above lists and you are going to use a creative way to do this.
Imagine you are applying for the best job you ever thought you could have in a Supply Chain Management role (you may use a fictitious one but if you have a real one in mind, you may use that scenario). You are being told by a recruiter that the hiring Senior Management team has requested that you present to them a “10-15” minute PowerPoint presentation (8-10 slides) on why you are the “best fit” candidate for the job. To impress them, you need to show them that you have a good understanding of the best practices for successful and effective supply chain management.
In the presentation, they would like you to focus on the following:
Your personal philosophy of effective Supply Chain Management
The best practices of Sustaining and Implementing Supply Chain Management processes
The importance of focusing on the best practices
Why you are the best person for the job and please be convincing on this (this should be the 2nd to last slide before the reference slide)
