2. Group Assignment
1. Assignment 2 is a group assignment and you need to develop the project plan with a group which will
consist four members. Group assignment need to submit all four components of project portfolio listed
below.
2. Scaffolding learning approach will be applied in the group assignment which will consist several
assessment components in sequential order to complete. And students will report on their progress at the
completion of each component.
3. Working in the virtual team has been inevitable work practice nowadays. Students will experience the
virtual team work with their group assignment in this project management. The students will experience
their group assignment as a project where task allocations will be assigned, their communication will be
managed by using the Blackboard Collaborate.
4. The project charter which is relating with your (majority of group members) admitted major will be
provided for your group to work on the project plan portfolio as your group assignment. The group
members will be informed about the given project charter in week three.
5. The group assignment will contribute 20% toward the final mark.
6. Refer to unit outline for submission dates.
7. Each section will be assigned the marks as in the table below and these marks will be scaled to provide

1. Project Background and Description
Shared Our Kitchen company is based on the ghost kitchen business model where a professional food
preparation and coking facility set up for the preparation of delivery-only meals. The Shared Our Kitchen
company is emerged as a business model in response to the rapid growth in consumer demand for
restaurant delivery meals.
This company will provide the kitchen equipment and facilities needed for the chefs who are facing
difficulties with the needs of high capital to rent a space for opening the restaurants in high-rent, high-foottrafficked urban locations. It will also offer point of sale and ordering software that accommodates various
delivery platforms (UberEats, Deliveroo, Menulog, etc ). It also provides its own delivery services.
It also provides the produce ordering systems to the chefs where meat, fruits and vegetable producers will
list the available products and the chefs can place orders for required produce. Meat, fruits and vegetable
producers will deliver their produces to the company’s storage facilities where chefs can pick up their
ordered goods and make payments.
