Instructions
Although stress is an inevitable consequence of facing challenges and leading a busy life, there are things we can do help us become aware of the situations and events that cause us to feel stress and the way we react to them. This assignment is intended to provide an opportunity to learn more about the situations and events that trigger stress and a few basic techniques for managing stress.
Step 1: Choose a 24 hour period and fill out a Stress Diary
*This diary should have 6 entries at a minimum (or 5 exceptionally detailed entries)
*The period should include a day during which you have classes or work.*

I got mad because I couldn’t find

My apple pencil died, and I was

As I was walking to my car, I

I contemplated on going in

slight relief knowing I thought a
little ahead and brought a
notebook and pen to take notes
just in case I experienced
technical difficulties while there.
I didn’t know it was going to be
so long and the headache was not
making it any better.
I was cold, and I was starting to
feel a bit faint from not eating.
I tried parking as far away from
other cars as I could, but this
individual had no common
courtesy to park within the lines
and decided to cause me utmost
distress.
I was very upset and angry
because I had less than an hour to
get to my next orientation, but I
needed to get something to eat so
I wouldn’t pass out, but I was also
frantic a little bit because I didn’t
know if I had any scratches on my
car due to how close the
individual parked next to me. I
was agitated at the fact that I
couldn’t get into my car and get
food and still make it to my next
orientation in a timely manner.
Short orientation and was able to
have my questions answered.
Content although my headache
started to come back , it was
mostly due to my dehydration for
the day.
