ASSIGNMENT II – REGISTERED NURSE (RN) INTERVIEW
Communication is more than just the sharing or exchanging of ideas and information. It is a
dynamic interchange between communicators. It includes verbal and nonverbal interactions and
is essential to nursing practice.
There are three (3) parts to this assignment:
Interview a registered nurse (RN) with two years or more experience currently in
practice regarding their perception of nursing and the nurse’s “role.” Turn in a twoto-three-page typed summary of this interview. The paper must be typed in a
summarized APA format. Do not numerically itemize the questions in your paper.
10 points will be deducted from the total score of the paper where the questions
were numerically itemized. However, all interview questions below must be
summarized in your paper.
