This criterion is linked to a Learning OutcomeAims/Values/Goals
8 to >6.56 pts
Meets Expectations
The desired outcomes are described with insight. The purpose, focus, and viewpoint of the project as well as its expected accomplishments are stated and analyzed. Goals are listed, relevant, measurable, and shared. Specific implementation benefits (values) are considered and addressed in detail. The desired outcomes state the purpose, have a quality focus, and expertly describe the benefits that will occur if the study is implemented.
6.56 to >6.0 pts
Approaches Expectations
The desired outcomes are described in a general way. The purpose, focus, and viewpoint of the project as well as its expected accomplishments are stated but only generally analyzed. Goals are listed and generally presented as relevant, measurable, and shared. Implementation (values) are considered and addressed, but may lack detail. The desired outcomes state the purpose, have a general focus, and somewhat describe the benefits that will occur if the study is implemented.
6 to >4.72 pts
Falls Below Expectations
The desired outcomes are described vaguely and with little focus. Analysis is lacking in substance. Goals are listed but some may not be relevant, measurable, and/or shared. Implementation (values) may be too vague to follow. The desired outcomes have no clear focus, and the benefits are unclear or unreasonable.
