The Brief An individual portfolio based submission (max 4000 words) with the given project brief and a specified collaborative environment. You are expected to critically analyse and evaluate project execution in terms of choice and application of methods and technologies for construction costing, planning and activity tracking, including simulating construction schedules and logistics, testing buildability, forecasting and clash detection. You will be further expected to reflect upon the key design management principles and quality control, including aspects of risk assessment, costs control and project phasing. (must includes images with reference of the images) Submission Requirements An individual portfolio based submission requiring from you to submit digital A3 portfolio with designed front cover (with an element of group work, as per below), based on the given project and specified collaboration environment. BIM and Theoretical appraisal (INDIVIDUAL) Undertake advanced and independent research and critically evaluate the theoretical approach related to the project planning necessary to enable the benefits of BIM to be realised by the whole project team.In the context of above, discourse and critically resolve the impact on design management and project delivery through non-optimal decision making processes.
