In 2008, the government issued TARP funds to banks and other industries. Many Americans disagreed with the “bailout” for these industries.
In your paper this week, focus on TARP funds given to banks to answer the questions:
Why were TARP funds given to banks?
Why were some banks forced to take TARP funds even though they didn’t need them?
What affect did TARP funds have on the economy, the government, and the banking system in general?
After doing your research, do you agree or disagree with the TARP fund program?
Your paper must be 750-1000 words long and follow APA format.
You must have three references cited, and your textbook must be one of your references.
