Remember the following quote from Robert K. Greenleaf as you reflect on your service project experience: “The difference manifests itself in the care taken by the servant – first to make sure that other people’s highest priority needs are being served. The best test, and difficult to administer, is: Do those served grow as persons? Do they, while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? And, what is the effect on the least privileged in society? Will they benefit or at least not be further deprived.”

The Atlanta Community Food Bank exemplifies the
characteristics of servant leadership by actively and
conscientiously addressing the urgent needs of the community’s
most disadvantaged individuals. It is a symbol of hope for
people and families battling with the troublesome conditions of
food weakness and financial difficulty. By affiliating with this
organization, my goal isn’t just to assist with lessening hunger
and work on the overall welfare and opportunities of the people
it serves.

I want to engage in servant leadership by dedicating a minimum
of four hours to support the diverse purpose of the Atlanta
Community Food Bank. I intend to engage in various aspects

organizing and packing food donations, efficiently distributing
essential food items to individuals and families in need, and
actively contributing to community outreach programs that aim
to raise awareness about the widespread problems of food
insecurity and poverty. My main objective is to significantly
impact the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s continuous efforts
to enhance the well-being of individuals and families affected
by the terrible reality of hunger. I aim to create an environment
that provides food and promotes concrete improvements in the
general well-being, health, and future prospects of individuals
served by the organization. With a commitment to servant
