Most terms in allied health sciences are made up of combinations of Greek or Latin words. For this project, you will choose a body system and fifteen (15) words from a chapter in your textbook. Look up these words and give the definition for each word and find the Greek or Latin origin. (See example below) Spelling will count. The project counts as 5% of you grade. Make sure your paper is submitted on time. Late assignments will not be accepted and your grade can possible drop by one letter grade if you fail to submit your definitions on time.Example of definition:1 “colon”: The part of the large intestine that runs from the cecum to the rectum as a long tube that serves to remove water from digested food and let the remaining material, solid was called stool, move through the rectum and leave the body through the anus. The word colon came from the word “kolon” which to the ancient Greeks meant the large intestine.ASK IF NOT ENOUGH INFO!
