Hi , can you please help with a writeup for graduation speech as the student speaker. The instructions are below.
Guidelines:
The address should be no more than 3 minutes long. This translates to approximately 400 – 500 words or 1.5 — 2 double-spaced, typed pages.
Because you will present the speech to fellow students graduating from programs across all four schools, it is important to keep the themes broad. The address should reference experiences common to all graduate students.
Please try to incorporate at least one or two values of the Sisters of St. Joseph into your speech:
Gracious Hospitality
Love and service of the Dear Neighbor without distinction
Peaceful resolution of conflict
Care for all God’s creation
Selection Process:A selection committee will review entries and consider the following when making their selection:
Clarity of ideas
Appeal to a broad audience & common experiences of Regis students
Quality of speech content
Extent to which the speech represents the mission and values of Regis
