For homework assignment you are being asked how to create an annotated bibliography
Essentially, the annotated bibliography is a reference list with a short summary of the article. This short summary is in your own words and does not copy and paste from the article. Coping and pasting from the article will result in a zero for this assignment and your being reported to academic integrity. The annotated bibliography will follow the format listed below:
1) Choose from one of the following 6 topics. You bibliography will include only articles related to the topic you choose.
a) Revenue Management
b) Sustainability
c) Restaurant Management
d) Corporate Social Responsibility
e) Organizational Behavior
f) Diversity and Inclusion
2) Find 5 articles related to your field by searching on the UNLV Library site or Google Search. The articles need to be in peer-reviewed journals. They should not be conference proceedings nor should they be a dissertation or thesis.
3) List the articles in alphabetical order by last name. To receive full credit, the citations must be follow APA 7 formatting exactly. Format them following APA 7 formatting as listed on the link on the Module and here.
4) Underneath each reference, write a 3-5 sentence summary of the article in your own words. Do not copy and paste the abstract. Do not use any direct quotes. This summary should include the following:
– What was studied
– Why this study is important.
– What the researchers found.
– What the researchers state is its major contribution.
5) The annotated bibliography should be in 12 point, times new roman, double spaced. Your name must be on the top of the assignment. The assignment must be turned in on Microsoft Word. Other formats will not be accepted.
