The introduction to the paper should be at least 5 sentences with at least one citation and
a fully stated purpose of the paper.
Interview
What did you learn from your interview with a scholar or librarian? The entire paper
must be in 3rd person language…. it must be at least 2 fully formed paragraphs (at least 5
sentences in length). Use a personal communication citation to cite the interview. Use this
format; for a narrative citation: First initial. Last name (personal communication, August 8,
2019). For a parenthetical citation: (T. Hopkins, personal communication, February 24, 2020).
Remember, personal communications do not get listed on the reference page, only cited in the
work.

paragraphs (at least 5 sentences in length) with at least one in-text citation.
