For this assignment, you’ll be creating a literature review matrix.. It’s basically a chart to fill out, with one line per article.. This will be helpful, as you head into your group work and research proposal creation, as you’ll have a pretty good grounding in the research already. For each article you’ll collect information for each column. In short, make sure you’re not just summarizing the main points but are also talking about how they did the research.

I’ve given you the template I want you to use, but in the examples you’ll see some variation in the columns. Again, for this assignment, use the ones I’ve given you.

Where students typically lose points:

Providing a vague summary of the article (remember- there’s few things worse than “good, bad & interesting”)
Leaving sections blank
Selecting non-scholarly, non-research resources (i.e., newspaper articles or websites or articles that are not based on research)
Not deleting my example row.
Including less than 4 articles
