PRESENTATION DO’S
Create a video that is less than 8 minutes long to keep the viewers attention.
Include at least 1 photo on each slide with a few bullet points on the related topic.
Can include a short video clip about your textile topic that is no longer than 2 minutes.
Make sure your presentation is easily accessible and does not require the viewer to download your file. (upload
to YouTube, Vimeo, record on Zoom and provide a link, etc.)
Prepare note cards
Practice and time yourself! Don’t go over 8 minutes, you will lose your audiences attention!
Make sure you can pronounce every word you are using (if not, don’t use the word)
PRESENTATION DONT’S
Ø Showing your face is NOT necessary for the presentation but we would love to see you.
Ø Copying and pasting your Textile Report into the presentation is boring and too wordy. Edit down to focus on
key points.
