What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
-First of all: During the first week of my training, my direct
supervisor briefed me on the company’s administrative
structure, its mission and vision, then he took me to get know
my colleagues in the department in which I am training in it,
as well as the rest of the departments in the same building.
-My direct supervisor assigned me to receive incoming
communications to the Human Resources Department from

the rest of the departments, units, and workers, and to
respond to their inquiries regarding the remaining balance of
employees’ vacations, after giving me permission to use their
Oracle system to get this information.
-Ensure that workers’ residence permits are renewed in a
timely manner, and that their personal information is
updated. Alert management to the names of employees
whose residency is about to expire so that appropriate action
can be taken regarding their residency to avoid imposing any
fines on the company.

-Working under pressure, I sometimes receive callers with
inquiries about their belongings, such as vacation balance,
and at the same time I am assigned by my direct supervisor to
prepare some reports, and I must deal with both tasks at the
same time and with the same efficiency and quality.
-Organization and efficiency, I suggested to the direct
supervisor, in order to preserve working time, that employees
be provided with their balance of vacations along with the
monthly salary chart, which is provided to each employee
monthly via e-mail or made available to the employees
through their own accounts on the company’s human
resources management system.
How many meetings did you attend?
-I attended a meeting with my direct supervisor, during
which he introduced me to the company’s work policies, and

I have had difficulty communicating with foreign workers,

-At the beginning of the training, I felt as if I was lost and did
not know what I have to do, especially with the amount of
work that was assigned to me.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
-I used T-Boy to help me translate what they wanted, and that
helped me a lot because he spoke their language and Arabic.
-I organized my time and arranged my priorities, and this
helped me a lot in gaining confidence in myself and
completing the tasks required of me at the time specified for
them, and some times before the deadline for them.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
-I have learned that if you want to succeed, you must take
advantage of all the capabilities available to you and work
with them in a team spirit.
-I learned that good organization makes you work more
efficiently and saves you a lot of effort and time.

-I am interested in furthering my understanding of team

What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
During the second period of my training, I was assigned by
my direct supervisor to work with some committees in the
General Administration of Engineering Affairs on some
administrative tasks, which are as follows:
-Leading the teamwork that was assigned the task of
collecting plans and data for existing and completed projects

-Participation of the teamwork that was assigned the task of
preparing a checklist for the requirements of design projects.
-Participation of the teamwork that was assigned the task of

-All of this is in addition to the tasks that previously assigned
to me in the Human Resources Department, which were

-I also learned how to build good and healthy communication
relationships with my colleagues in work teams.

-During this period, I organized one meeting, and that was
with members of my teamwork, which was assigned the task
of collecting maps and data for existing and completed
projects and creating their database.

-I noticed that some members of the team I was assigned to

-We faced some difficulties in collecting data for completed
projects. This was due to the travel of some of the managers
of those projects or the end of the contractual relationship
with them.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
-It was just a simple clarification that, I knew the mission we
were assigned came too late, but I insisted on leading it
because I believe in them and their abilities and potential,
and that the credit will go to them in the end. This was
enough to make them cooperate with me and we finished the
work within two weeks.
-We were able to reach some of them and they kindly
cooperated with us, while others were able to access their
data through the rest of the company’s project work team.
-In fact, we were not able to solve this dilemma once and for
all, but we are still working on developing a new policy in
the company’s project management policies list, which
includes the duties of the project manager that is completed
before emptying the project, including the data that must be
delivered and the method of sorting it to suit the database that
we have created.

-There is nothing perfect in our lives, but we must always
strive to achieve the best possible, and nothing is worthless,
the day will come when you will need it and it will become
the most important things that you are looking for.
-Do not be stingy in encouraging your teamwork members,
because everyone of us always needs encouragement, even if
we are an expert in our field.
-In fact, what caught my attention most is that administrative
work is a sequential work of an entire system in which
everyone must work to achieve the goals of the system. I
wish I could know how the scope of work, duties, and
powers are determined within it.
What did you want to learn more?
-I hope to find the appropriate opportunity to delve deeper
into studying how to build the administrative structure of
companies, develop plans, goals and strategies, and work to
set performance monitoring standards to measure their
achievement.
-I am interested in furthering my understanding of team
adaptation and task distribution within a professional
environment.
-I am interested in gaining further knowledge regarding the

During the third period of my training, my assignment by my
direct supervisor to work with some committees in the
General Administration of Engineering Affairs in some
administrative tasks is still valid, and some tasks have been
added, which are as follows:
– Prepare a list of lessons learned from project obstacles and

-I learned how to be a planner and how to follow the process
of implementing it because one of the most important
qualities in a successful leader is the ability to plan and
follow up.

-During this period, I organized two meetings with the work
teams that I lead, in which I clarified the tasks and discussed

-I agreed with the task team that we would accurately list the
requirements, create a Microsoft Form, and then send it via email to the project work teams to take their responses, so that
it would be easier for us to then audit and analyse them.
-During our study, we learned about several methods for
evaluating the performance of employees in the organization,
and among these methods are self-evaluation, performance
testing, interviews, and circular evaluation or what is called
360 degrees, which we agreed to choose in the end because it
meets our requirements because it takes care of the entire
circle of people around the employee. Managers, colleagues
and subordinates, thus the wider the evaluation circle, The
more accurate the results.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
-Technology has been developed to help us, so we should
take advantage of it whenever we have the opportunity.
-The method that may succeed in measuring the performance

What did you want to learn more?
– I am interested in automating all administrative work and
benefiting as much as possible from artificial intelligence
programs, running them and analyzing their outputs.
– I am interested in developing carefully systematic
development plans for the entire facility, starting from
formulating the vision and mission until writing the goals and
following up on their implementation.
-I hope to find the right opportunity to learn how to develop
an organization’s culture, discover and retain talent, and solve
the problem of job evasion and loss of experience.
