In the last section of the class we examined intercultural challenges. This assignment requires you to apply your knowledge to the encounters involving intercultural miscommunication described in The Latehomecomer. You are to develop and explain a list of “top ten” intercultural communication rules that you would write for the use of various professionals (e.g. teachers, healthcare providers, supervisors, etc.) and institutions, in order to improve their communication with underrepresented groups. Each rule should be written as a complete sentence. You must support each of your rules with an explanation, and provide evidence from the readings.Cite both Ting-Toomey & Chung and Yang throughout your four- to five-page paper. Include page numbers.
