Description
Compare and contrast two examples (works) of visual arts (particularly sculptures and friezes, but also vases) that detail the change in the medium influenced by the Golden Age of Athens. Be sure to reference at least two specific examples (primary sources) of visual art to illustrate your conclusions. You must discuss in detail the historical context of the art. See the discussion of the Age of Pericles and the Parthenon in Sayre pp. 154-160 for some examples but you should explore beyond this text using the resources in the library. To be considered complete, your submission should include at least 5 different sources. Your paper must be between 750-1250 original words in length and in MLA format.
