Description
Read and cite six relevant and appropriate (if you’re unsure about a source just ask!) The total number of peer reviewed cited papers should be 6 or more. While articles in newspapers or popular science publications like National Geographic can be used, these do not count towards the 6 primary research sources – you must have at least 6 peer-reviewed, published research articles in addition to any secondary popular-audience or journalistic sources.
Use your research to write a 5-page essay detailing the impacts of your chosen medicinal plant in our society
Your essay can include the reason you chose the plant and its impact on your life, but the majority should be a factual account of the plant and its role in society (or societies role for the plant…)
You can discuss for example: where the plant originated, what are the medicinal properties and active ingredients of the plant, in which countries has the plant been grown and how our society has been impacted by this plant and the medicinal substances deriving from it.
You are responsible for deciding the specific sub-topics and organization of your paper body. Make sure to consider the flow of the paper and how to make your work interesting to a curious reader.
