Submission Format
This is a group presentation, and you are required to complete the task and submit your
final slides via Turnitin by the set deadline. You will work in a group of 4-5 students to
prepare a presentation. You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs,
subsections, and illustrations as appropriate. You should employ appropriate visual aids to
present the materials. Where appropriate, learning theory and additional research must be
used. The recommended length of this submission is 3000 words (Main Slides and Appendix
Slides).
Instructions
a) Prepare presentation (Main Slides + Appendix Slides). (Circa 3000 words.)
b) The full presentation must contain max. 10-12 slides followed by 6-7 appendix
slides. The appendix slides themselves will not be used in the spoken presentation.
c) The appendix slides should contain relevant information that supports the main
points of the presentation, for example, it may identify additional benefits or
concerns, explanations, and justifications, or provide tables, graphs or figures or
other details which would be too crowded in the main slides.
d) A full reference list should be included in a separate slide at the end.
e) Please do not use footnote and make sure you follow the assignment format.
When is the presentation? An appointment will be scheduled for your group based on
the number of members.

How long is the presentation? Each group will be given 25 minutes to be presented
and each member must (equally) to participate in the presentation.
Where? Your normal scheduled classrooms.
Attendance: attendance/presentation will be required by each team member during
the presentation.
Format: PowerPoint presentation main slides and appendix slides.
Additional information: Each student needs to submit the presentation slides individually
to the Turnitin link and your presentation should include a cover page with all group
members’ names.
Also include well-chosen visuals and academic references, formatted according to Harvard.
Your references will not be included in the word limit and are best formatted.
* Presentation (S1) will be graded according to the following criteria; please also consult
the marking criteria from Table 1 below.
● Content – interesting and stimulating content (40%)
● Time management (10%)
● Creativity (10%)
● Presentation skills – structure, how fluently content is expressed, influencing skills,
the use of visual aids (30%)
● Academic/Harvard – evidence of an academic approach (10%)
