Focus on gratefulness!
I would like to invite you to take a moment to reflect on the positive things going on in your life. Take a picture of yourself holding a list of five things you are grateful for and post it on the gratefulness discussion board. Then comment of two of your classmates’ posts and you will get an extra 20 points! Due by 11/17/2023.
Why is it important to be grateful? It allows you to stop and be present in the moment and can encourage positive feelings. How does gratefulness impact our lives? Research shows that gratefulness “can lead to increased levels of well-being” (Emmons & Crumpler, 2000) as well as less stress (Krause, 2006), depression and anxiety (Kashdan & Breen, 2007).
