Description
This assignment comprises two parts.
Part A: The first part of this assignment focuses on helping students gain a deeper understanding of the “embedding of GA JavaScript code” aspect of the course material and understanding the mystery behind this process. The tutorial for the completion of tasks 3-1 and 3-2 can be found in the attached document. Be prepared to share your URL with us during our live classroom session.
Task 3-1: Create a website with at least two web pages on any kind of topic. Some examples include (but not limited to) your pet, favorite TV shows, favorite cities you’ve visited or hobbies. Include screenshots of your website in your managerial report. (max. 1 point)
Task 3-2: Create a Google Analytics Account and embed a tracking code into your website. Include a screenshot of the number of views your website received and any other metrics you think necessary. (max. 1 point)
Part B: After you’ve created your web page, it is now time to bring visitors to your web page.
Task 3-3: We have introduced URL builder in lecture sessions, using URL Builder and Mailchimp, create an email campaign that attracts visitors to your website. You will now have a chance to try your hand at experimenting. Please run at least 1 A/B experiment using URL builder to find out which type of emails brought in most users to the website. (max. 2 points)
Task 3-4: Perform an analysis of the performance of your campaigns in Google Analytics. Here you should provide a summary of your campaign, showcasing the traffic sources and campaign ID. Please include screenshots of your campaign results. (max. 2 points)
Task 3-5: You are required to submit a managerial report that summarizes the answers for the above tasks. This report should include a cover page, table of contents, executive summary, main body and appendices. The recommended length of the main body of the of the report should be 2 – 4 pages, APA format. Please include all required screenshots as part of your appendices. (max 1 point)
