Description
Implement your (previously submitted) plans for building upon your team deliverables to create your individual dashboard(s). Conduct research on your chosen datasets, including relevant historical events and past decisions at different managerial decision-making levels that may impact your own decisions.
Prepare to present your work within 90 seconds, including:
A very brief summary of your project (i.e., to establish context for your individual presentation);
Your individual findings using your individual dashboard(s), and;
Your ≤15-second video presentation:
Showing the equivalence of your Tableau and Excel dashboards, and;
Demonstrating your SQL statements recreating two PivotTables supporting your Excel dashboard.
A script for your presentation (i.e., bullet/discussion points or full script) also is required, and it is intended to help you keep your presentation brief and focused. Your script should also contain hyperlinks to all references cited. For example, if in your video you say, “According to an analysis by the National Association of RealtorsLinks to an external site., …,” then you must have a hyperlink (or footnote to an article citation with hyperlink) to your source. You need not state the specific URL source in your (succinct) presentation.
Additionally, your team must evaluate each presenter using paper evaluation forms (to be distributed in class). Team members must take turns leading the team for peer evaluations.
Submit:
Your script (PDF) for your in-person presentation with hyperlinks to references used
Your ≤15-second video presentation of equivalent elements of Tableau, Excel, and SQL
(In person) Your rehearsed ≤90-second presentation (which includes your ≤15-second video in #2)
The instructor will stop your presentation at the 90-second mark
Your individually extended version of your team’s artifacts (e.g., new datasets, Excel formulae, SQL files, Tableau packaged workbooks, and Excel workbooks)
(On paper) Your presentation evaluation forms
