final building block

Description

The Final Paper, due on 12/14, should be an 8-10 page (double space) paper that further develops ideas from the Building Blocks. Students should analyze the rationale, history, and theory of economic democracy and one of its manifestations (e.g., mutual aid, co-ops, budget justice, etc.), include 1-2 specific case studies, and reflect on the strengths and limitations of these alternative social and economic relations. The final paper can be written as a course paper, or as a research, policy, or cooperative proposal. Whichever format it takes, the final paper must incorporate course concepts and materials, and students’ original analysis.
