You work in your state’s health department. Your manager wants your help in analyzing the local Covid transmission rates. She is hoping you can automate a spreadsheet so it can quickly summarize critical information for your department.

Create a spreadsheet that utilizes conditional formulas within Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to fulfill your manager’s request by completing the following steps:

Access data on Covid transmission rates from the CDC website. This website lists the data in a spreadsheet format.
Open Microsoft Excel software
Create a new Microsoft Excel file named “MPH 560 Excel Assignment”
Create a new worksheet in your Microsoft Excel file and name it “Conditional Formulas”
Add Covid data for at least 10 counties in your state or a neighboring state that are close to your local area including the following:

Create column titles that accurately describe each type of data you chose to include
Create an automated snapshot of the data by using the conditional function COUNTIF in Microsoft Excel to show the following:
Number of counties with high community risk level
Number of counties with medium community risk level
Number of counties with low community risk level
Number of counties with more than 100 Covid cases per 100,000 people
Number of counties with more than 10 Covid hospitalizations per 100,000 people
