Construct the initial steps of a research plan based on your topic of focus.

Consider how you will include it, while incorporating any feedback you receive after this week.Take ActionIn your paper,
Create a title page with the following information:
Title of Project
Student’s name
Course name and number
Instructor’s name
Date submitted
Create a one- to two-page research plan that considers the following questions:
What is my research topic?
What is the research purpose or problem (e.g., trying a new teaching method, identifying a problem, examining an area of interest, etc.)?
What are my research questions?
Who would my proposal impact?
What would I need to complete my study (e.g., materials, time, location, etc.)?
Provide a references list in current APA format on the final page of the final project template.
Use at least three scholarly sources to support your action research proposal. You may include scholarly sources you have used previously in this or other courses.

If you have questions about whether a specific source is appropriate for this assignment, please contact your instructor. Writing ExpectationsIn the Planning a Proposal assignment, adhere to the following writing expectations:
Academic Voice (Rubric Guidance 0 points): Must utilize academic voice in all speaker’s notes and written portions of this project. See the Academic Voice resource for additional guidance.
Academic Integrity (Rubric Guidance 0 points): Originality matters. Adhere to the principles of academic integrity including a strong demonstration of your original thinking and academic voice. Student fully supports ideas with research, following rules of proper citation to fully attribute words and information to the original source.
Syntax and Mechanics (0.25 points): Exhibit meticulous use of grammar, spelling, organization, and usage throughout your submission.
Source Requirement (0.5 points): Reference at least three scholarly sources including the course text (minimum 10 sources total) in order to provide compelling evidence to support your ideas.
Page Requirement (0.25 points): Include at least one to two pages with in-text citations, excluding the title and reference pages.
APA format (1.5 points): All in-text citations, page formatting, and references must be written in current APA format according to APA Style.
Title Page: Must include a separate title page with the following:
Title of Assignment
Student’s name
Course name and number
Instructor’s name
Date submitted
Page numbers in upper right corner of each page
Organization: Use the above listed guidelines for explicit level headings within your presentation.
Citing Sources: Must document any information used from sources in APA Style as outlined in the Writing Center’s APA: Citing Within Your Paper
Scholarly Sources: Must include a references list that is formatted according to APA Style as outlined in the Writing Center. Review the APA: Formatting Your References List resource in the Writing Center for specifications.
