Introduction
Over the last few years, health care has transformed from a fee for service focus to a value-based care focus. A large contributing factor to the transition has been data. The introduction of electronic health records has created a tremendous volume of discrete patient data. Common practice now is to pull the data into reports for analysis and identification of areas for improvement.
