This is a paper/ essay that is going to be 10-12 pages. My research question is: Does the proximity of a prison influence the social cohesion and economic status of a local community? My local community is going to be the church called New City Church or I think it’s called Christian New City Church. It is located in Los Angeles. I submitted a literature review in the class regarding the paper which you can use and I will send it to you right now, however, I got a 17/25 on it so don’t rely on it too much. Also please elaborate on Christian New City church (the church I chose) on what they believe etc. I will also send you my fieldnotes in which you can use. The fieldnotes are the interviews I conducted with the pastors and other church staff. Regarding sources, I need ten sources in which 9 out of 10 of them have to be scholarly/ peer reviewed articles. Please provide in text citations and cite correctly. I will also need a references page listing my 10 sources and each one should be annoated within 2-3 sentences explaining what the article was about. This paper should be double spaced, 12 point font, and 10-12 pages. The format of the paper will look like this: 1. Introduction to subject with stated thesis. 2. A background sketch of the history , geography, and beliefs of the religion, and the communities understanding and lived experience of life in relationship to the prison. 3. A presentation of ethnographic research findings. 4. A summary conclusion with recommendations. This paper should also be ASA style. Also again make sure 9 of the 10 sources are peer reviewed/ scholarly 🙂
