Description
This VoiceThread Assignment covers information related to health communication and the media, as well as communication and mental health.
Be sure to listen to my instructions (just click on my picture to hear my recording)and read the requirements for each topic carefully!
Remember to click “SUBMIT”after you complete all of your required recordings, or I will not be able to enter a grade for your assignment and it will remain a zero.
All required recordings (original comments and responses to classmates) MUST be saved and time-stamped by the due date and time to receive full credit. You can post for up to three days after the due date for partial credit (see the syllabus for point deduction scale).
A response can be on the same topic as an original comment, but you cannot have more than two recordings (e.g., one original comment and one response to a classmate) on any topic.
you have to plz respond to two slides one is for mass media and health and one is for mental health
things you need to read for mass media and health topic and include in the slide for mass media and health topic:
There are articles and videos embedded in the following slides. However, I have also included them in the Canvas modules for easy access. You do NOT need to read/view/listen to them more than once.
*NOTE: Some of the violence studies highlighted in the slides are older, but they still represent some of the most comprehensive studies of violence on television. More recent studies indicate that violence in the media has continued to increase, and consumers have become more and more desensitized to violent content in moves, TV shows, and video games.
