Week One Case Discussion
Notes on grading: The threaded discussion requires an initial post with at least three (unless otherwise stated) substantive responses to the ideas of other students for a minimum of 4 posts. An initial post offers an analysis of the prompt case supported by evidence (peer-reviewed literature, textbook) and requires organized writing. Citations/references must be inserted into the post and at the end using correct APA format. The analysis post should include an introduction, body containing your ideas, and conclusion for full credit. These don’t have to be long but need to structure your post. The analysis post must be completed by midnight (PST)/Wednesday. Responses to other students must ALSO be organized and complete. Response such as “I agree” or “good point” may help the group dynamics but won’t score points. Responses should add to the knowledge and thinking of the group. Responses can be a comprehensive paragraph with support evidence from the textbook or peer-reviewed literature. Responses are due by 11:59pm (PT), Saturday
