Please use both the Qualitative Analysis Reference Sheet, Quantitative Analysis Reference Sheet, and assigned readings to discuss the following questions with your peers.1. Review the article ” Parents’ Use of Praise and Criticism in a Sample of Young Children Seeking Mental Health Services” (Appendix A) use only pages 334-335 in your Polit and Beck text.Find one statistical test that was done on the data.Define the statistical test and discuss how the test was applied to the data.2. validation of results by
querying study
participants.
Giorgi (1985), view is that
it is inappropriate either to
return to participants to
validate findings or use
external judges to review
the analysis.
Van Kaam’s (1996)
method requires that
intersubjective agreement
be reached with other
expert judges.
Glaser approach,
Corbin & Strauss
approach, and
Charmaz
approach.
