PART A: BIOSTEKCH
Using the Biosketch Form, develop your biosketch. Follow the NIH instructions.to ensure your biosketch is developed completely and correctly.
The biosketch may not exceed 5 pages per person (including the table at the top of the first page).

1. Develop your own biosketch.
Assignment requirements:
This portion of the proposal should be 4-5 pages.
Writing should follow current APA guidelines.
Biosketch Form should be completed thoroughly and accurately.
PART B: Grant Writing Interview Assignment
Interview someone who has experience writing grants. This person can be faculty at ATSU, a coworker, or someone from your previous institution. In your interview, ask the following questions:
What is the most significant challenge involved in writing grants?
How many grants have your written in your career?
What type of grants did you apply for?
What advice would you offer to me (or any novice grant writer) about writing grants?
Summarize the interview and include a brief biographical description of the person you interviewed and their specific responses to the interview questions.
Assignment requirements:
The interview summary should be 2-3 pages.
Writing should follow current APA guidelines.
Learning Objectives:
1. Interview an experienced grant writer.
2. Summarize the interview experience and your subject’s responses to the interview questions.
