I have to find a problem that deals with an organizational issue that will be solved through data mining. Data mining calculations and graphics must be included in the final deliverable.
Give me a one-page proposal that must be reviewed and approved by the professor that states:
The problem to solve.
How data mining will solve the problem.
Potential functions or concepts that will be used from the course.
The paper should include the following sections each called out with a Headers.
Introduction: Overview of the Paper.
Background: The section should be a Company Overview that includes the company name or industry field they are in and a general overview of the organization/industry.
Challenges: The problem- note the description and why it’s a problem and how you are going to make a recommendation with data mining techniques.
Solution: The analysis of how data mining the data will solve the issue. Provide Graphical representation and formulas to solve the problem.
Conclusion: A summary of the consideration and evaluation of results. This includes your teams’ final analysis of the problem and the resolution.
References: Please include a separate reference page with at least 5 references.
The paper must adhere to APA guidelines including Title and Reference pages. There should be at least five scholarly sources listed on the reference page. Each source should be cited in the body of the paper to give credit where credit is due. Per APA, the paper should use a 12-point Time New Roman font, should be double spaced throughout, and the first sentence of each paragraph should be indented .5 inches. The body of the paper should be 10 pages in length. The Title and Reference pages do not count towards the page count requirements.
Note: The paper must be turned in before the end of the day on Saturday
Power Point Presentation
Presentations will be submitted for grading on Sunday.
15-minute max on presentation.
Groups will randomly present.
Must be APA formatted.
Bullets must be limited with information, i.e., do not put long paragraphs.
Practice presenting, have a timer.
1 minute per slide.
Putting the presentation in presentation mode to determine if it can be seen properly.
When you are presenting, please do not talk to other team members and take away from group presentation.
Limit any distractions of presenting groups.
